We believe that quality sleep is essential for overall well-being. Sleep Spark was created by a mental health therapist to provide innovative, effective solutions for those seeking an elevated self-care routine at bedtime for better sleep.

Our Team

Our Sleep Spark team consists of Simone Sexton, Founder & CEO, our amazing tech team, our marketing department, and our international team of advisors. Simone’s life as a child in foster care and her challenging upbringing led her to seek therapy. She experienced how EMDR therapy healed her from childhood trauma, and she was inspired to become an EMDR therapist herself. She was a therapist for 12 years and she also became trained in clinical hypnosis. Simone witnessed firsthand how learning the skill of self-hypnosis transformed her patients’ lives by empowering them to achieve profound relaxation and a restful night’s sleep. She was also a couple’s therapist, and she observed that many of her patients were disconnected from themselves and their partners due to stress and feeling overstimulated by screen time and modern life. Simone was inspired to create Sleep Spark to help spark creativity, self-care, connection, and healthy intimacy to help the world sleep.

Simone believes strongly in the power of our minds and how we can use our creativity to become immersed in a relaxing experience and customize it in our mind. Simone wants to inspire us all to unplug from mindless scrolling before bedtime and instead give yourself the gift of a relaxing experience in your mind. She believes we can all benefit from connecting more with our emotions and our authentic self. You are worth giving yourself this gift of self-care.
